heavenstairwayIt happens very rarely that I end up at a loss for words. In the post decade I have lost 2 friends from High School unexpectedly. The first was quite a few years ago and the most recent was yesterday morning. The reason I am at a loss for words, is trying see the logic in how a person so young (late 20’s to early 30’s) can pass so early in life. Both leaving behind a child and a loving husband. In the most recent, a newlywed husband, having been admitted to hospital almost immediately after the wedding, they never got to go on their honeymoon.…

Windows 7, The last of a great Windows Series….

As the title suggest, Windows has gone off the deep end, well at its core anyway.

Today I installed a test run of Windows 8 Pro in a virtual environment just to see what the OS had to offer… within the first 5 minutes I was pulling out my hair and screaming for Windows 7.

When you first install Windows 8, you are presented with, well, as their commercial theme song would suggest, “Everything At Once” which to some, like myself, is considered information overload. When I first saw the Windows 8 Menu, I had no idea what I was doing.…

Happy Thanksgiving

Well its that time of year for us Canadians to spend time with our families. I myself have taken the 2 hour trip to Ottawa to spend the holidays with my Mom and to see some friends I have not seen in ages. This is my second trip to O-Town in the last month as last week was the CD Release for my fav local band Go Long (!), but as I was only up for the night I didn’t have time to see everyone I would have liked to, so this weekend I am spending time with as many people as I can schedule, then back off to Montreal I go till prolly Xmas.…
